My favorite TV show

I like TV shows and series even though I don’t considerer myself as a huge fan. I like to watch TV in my spare time and I also watch things on Netflix or HBO GO when I have time.

My favorite TV show is “The Sopranos”. I think it’s, with a large difference, the best TV show of all time, even though I know a lot of good shows that can compete, but never in the same level.

The show is about the Soprano family, a large Italian family who control the Italian mafia in New York. The show puts special emphasis in Tony Soprano, the father, and the difficulties that he has as his tried to balance his family life with his role as a leader of a criminal organization.

It amazed me how the show is capable to transport me to Brooklyn, like I was another character watching the events and the constant action between the main characters. It’s also awesome how the characters grow and become more likeable for the audience, everyone can pick his favorite character, in my case is the protagonist, Tony Soprano.

As a show it has everything, emotion, conflict, drama, love and is also very revolutionary because is the first example of how to mix the own drama of the American series, the family drama, with the proper action of the police series, in this case the struggles of the New York mafia.

A show I haven’t had the possibility to watch and I always been interested in is Game of Thrones. I would like to see the whole show one day, but it may be difficult because there’s too many episodes.
